DIY Summer Fruit Hair Clips

Wear the summer in your hair! This is the ultimate Summer DIY.

It’s been raining non stop where i live so it’s time to bring summer back! Each of these hair clips takes less than 10 minutes to make. The perfect back to school (or work) craft!

And big bonus: these were made with items you can find at the dollar store!

What you’ll need:

    1. thick colored (glitter)

paperscissors

    1. Heavy duty

glue

    1. plain

hair clips

Cut out the shape of your fruit of choice. To make it a little stronger I created several layers. For the apple I first cut the whole shape out of the black glitter paper. Including the stalk and bottom part. After that I only cut out the “cheeks”of the apple from the green glitter paper. Make sure that layer is a little bigger or at least as big as the layer underneath. Same goes for the pineapple and the watermelon.
